Blue Skins

Blue Skins has 4 layers of blue, black & white animal print patterns. My inspiration for this piece stems from my love for spirals, they are featured in several pieces of my artwork. The 4 layers represent the skins(pelts) of a Zebra, Cougar, Cheater and a Jaguar.

If stared at long enough, the layers seem to change their positioning, like an optical illusion. Painted by L. Potrykus 2006 Acrylic on canvas 91 cm x 91 cm
