Boxed

Several sized metal boxes precariously stacked upon each other, many of the boxes appear to be toppling over.

With this Boxed artwork, I, as the artist have tried to make the viewer think about the positioning of these boxes.

Iv’e tried to make the viewer question the layout, and to ask themselves this question… ‘Did the box fall?’,  “Has the weight of the box’s solid mass, made it fall forward and it is now leaning against the box next to it. Or has the misplaced box , totally lost its balance and is now resting on the floor below it?”.

Charcoal on A1 paper  H84.1 cm x W59.4 cm Colours may look a little different, depending on screen type.

The drawing ‘Boxed’ is on paper and may need a frame, either just a frame or a frame with glass, the glass frame could add more protection from spills and dust.
