Nude2 Kneeling

This drawing that was done in a darkened room, with only a single lamp on it, created the light and dark tones. There was fast music playing in the background, in which the pace was set for the drawing of the model. It was one of my learning curves which I thought turned out pretty good, it soon became one of my favourite mediums in my early years of becoming an artist.

Charcoal has been around for centuries, artists in the 1920s used graphite alongside of charcoal as shown here by artist Henri Moore and here by George Braque’s.

George Braque’s was one of the forefront runners alongside of Picasso in the Cubist Movement, yet another fantastic art style.
